Types of deposits

These are the most common:

It allows your imported goods to remain in customs for up to 90 days without paying duties or VAT. After this period, the goods must be assigned a customs destination: they can be cleared for consumption in whole or in part, continue in transit to another customs facility, be placed in other warehouses, or be re-exported.

It allows for the storage of goods for which all required customs procedures have not yet been completed, postponing the payment of duties and VAT until the cargo has been fully or partially cleared. In this case, there is no time limit for storage in the warehouse.

This type of warehouse allows for the storage of goods exempt from normal customs duties or taxes or those subject to special customs regimes, such as goods in transit or goods destined for re-export. Its difference from DAP is that, in this case, the cargo may already be nationalized.

It allows for customs clearance under the export regime from the warehouse without taking the goods to customs, as it is a facility authorized by the customs authorities. This is a widely used method for grouping goods.
